  interesting article in time magazine (sept 2006, p. 50) - jesus said, "for what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

  this article states that a growing number of christians say" the question is better restated, 'why not gain the whole world plus my soul?'......

  christians should keep an eye on heaven.

  Pay it forward...

  okay, so in line with the concept of the movie pay it forward, how can jws best save the most people?.

  (1) murder is a sin.. (2) people who are repentant of sins are forgiven.. (3) people who go to hell (the common grave of mankind) are still alive in god's eyes, just sleeping.. (4) ergo, if a jw sends someone to hell the jw hasn't sinned.. now, that gets the basic doctrine stuff out of the way.. if every jw kills one thousand non-jw people there will be about 6,000,000 jws left.

  if every one of these repents over the deaths of whichever ones didn't go to hell, they will have saved way more people than they ever can by preaching.. and, if by chance they miss out on everlasting life by helpig someone else to attain it: no greater love has any.... any questions?

  Can you ask him what is wrong next time? I am courious as hell about this reactionas my mom and her elders seem very uneasy and uncomfortable around me.

  i will ask them next time...I hate guessing and only they have that answer.

  consider the scene: jesus has just been baptized and immediately leaves for an extended stay in the wilderness all on his lonesome.

  now ... already this is something the governing body would discourage any jw from doing, but i digress.. along comes satan.

  jesus knows it is satan, because of how satany he is.

  Wow! Nice points people! I must confront my mom with some of these questions. I feel like I went to the store and just bought some teflon bullets!

  You know..I was wondering lately how powerful of a weapon is the internet, freedom of speech, and an airtight case against those who choose to define themselves as your enemies by their actions and words?

  I wish I could define my cell phone as my handgun....and my laptop a more powerful weapon than all the WMD on earth combined to those who define me as their enemy. Even further...i wish we all could have this kind of power.

  Could we possibly work together to win this game with these kind of rules? Air we need is the airtight case...the rest we are given.

  That deer in the headlight look is shock and fear...but someone needs to ask them what is wrong when it happens so we will know for sure and not rely upon guesses as they do.

  For the record...Liars can only rule when truth is not present..I just made that up! WOW!

  would our leadership be of better quality if they knew they would be held accountable for their decisions, orders and examples they set to their subordinates?

  or are they confident/cocky they will never have to answer for their mistakes and do things the way they want to do them as a result of this perhaps shortsighted view on things?.

  i mean who is going to police the police so to speak?.

  Why do witnesses tell others how to live their lives, yet their own homes..

  are in turmoil?.

  i have been watching my witness mother refuse to confront her many problems with my father and brothers...instead running out at every opportunity to knock on her nieghbor's doors and tell them how some men in new york think they should be living their lives and running their household, calling it the "truth"...all while anyone who knows her knows what a mess her home life is.. .

  for one i think she should be a bit more selective on what she defines as truth..for two i don't think she can lead by example only empty hypocritical words.. .

  Who is going to get it the worst? Leaders who play double agent to get what they want at the people who trust in them's expense? Or someone who follows the example and makes many mistakes that bring harm to themselves?

  I don't believe God needs to punish anyone...we do it to ourselves by disobeying the rules we have in place to protect us..all He has to do is not intervene and save us from our own ways.

  Pretty soon the leadership is heading for a disaster by their deeds..and quite possibly everyone is going to suffer and possibly die from the mistakes they have made.
